We strive to bring authentic Japanese Cuisine to our guest. Our dishes are made using the freshest ingredients and authentic recipes!   

“Kyouoh”, meaning Samurai banquet. Kyouoh was also a sign of one’s intellect, refinement, and status for the Samurai. Through the decades of war among the Japanese Samurai, they held "Kyouoh" within their clans to nourish each other. As a result the gathering called Kyouoh started. Due to these Kyouoh, Japanese food culture developed. Kyouoh created cuisines that brought peace through camaraderie. Later, they called it  Shirukou – the word for the Misoshiru parties. The Samurai held gatherings known as Shirukou on battlefields. A deeper meaning in it includes the spirit of “Omotinashi” or the “spirit of thanks”.  

Kare Don offers these meals to you as a gesture of "Omitonashi"., it represents being thankful for your presence. Kare Don creates the type of food that the Samurai ate. Healthy, always using fresh materials, because we believed that using fresh ingredients not only have nutritional value, but medicinal value as well. Our rule is that the cuisine has to have a balance within itself then through you.
